About

Spain

From flamenco and Dalí to Rioja and wellness, we’ll craft your Spanish trip around what it is you want to do. After all, perfect itineraries are like the best pintxos – made fresh to order.

Ancient and modern; bull-fighting and flamenco. Spain is a country of deep and often surprising contrasts. One day you’re silently touring the prehistoric cave-art of El Castillo. The next you’re holding forth in the Michelin-starred restaurants of Catalonia. But our hosts will help make sense of its layers. From Antonio, a breeder of legendary Andalusian horses, to Yarra, a grower of ancient Rioja wines. These people – real Spaniards with living passions – will be your companions, drawing you deep into their historic homeland. You’d be lost without them. Don Quixote charging a windmill.

What to see

And Do in Spain
From surrealism to sangria
A country that gave rise to Flamenco and Surrealism is – of course – going to offer up a genuinely rich and layered experience. From hilly, food-forward Basque country, to the majestic sands of Mallorca, and the bustling culture of Barcelona, Spain is a country of countless opportunities folded into a surprisingly small package. It can take fewer than fourteen hours to cruise between Seville and the breathtaking North, but if you’re the restless type and want to linger a while longer you could connect your Spanish honeymoon with one in neighbouring Portugal.
Moved by Mallorca
A luxury holiday on the Spanish mainland – whose very centre is marked by sprawling, ornamental Madrid – has much to offer, yet we can’t talk about the lush Iberian peninsula without mentioning its majestic beaches, islands, and coastal resorts. The secluded bay of Palma de Mallorca pours out a quite unforgettable dose of relaxation and rejuvenation, set amidst its baked-yellow former military fortresses, restaurants of firewood ovens and grills, and the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean, making Mallorca an obvious contender for any luxury European honeymoon.

An idyll in Ibiza
The Balearic Islands are some of the most geologically magnetic places on the earth. Of course, they’re also metaphorically irresistible, which also explains why the Balearics are such an unforgettable honeymoon destination. Ibiza is intimate, sun-soaked, and calm. Meanwhile, only a boat ride away, the beaches of Formentera are some of the most famous in the world. Here you can indulge in fresh seafood on the shaded terraces, or take a private yacht out among the many deserted, secret islands that are scattered around this immaculate strip of coastline.
Barcelona and Basque Country
The old haunt of Picasso and Dali also has the highest number of Michelin stars per capita in the world. This beautiful, rugged, warm region of Spain has everything from mouth-watering pintxos eateries to some of the richest culture in the world. We could go on. From Barcelona’s Gaudi-stuffed streets; to the country’s best winemaking region, Rioja; and on to cultured, and culinary, Bilbao – home to that iconic outpost of the Guggenheim Museum.

If you can’t see it here we’ll still plan it for you.
